I love fudge. I get it all the time. My problem is that fudge is expensive. So when I am craving fudge, I want to make it myself. I can make a whole batch for way less than it costs to buy just a 1/4 pound on the boardwalk or at the candy store. This time of year, anywhere from Christmas to Easter, the kids get stuck on mint. Mint everything. Mint fudge is perfect to their mint cravings. Mint fudge is also perfect for St. Patrick’s Day. The green fudge makes our little Leprechauns happy.

Mint Chocolate Fudge
I like mint. But I like mint better when it is paired with chocolate. That is why I make my mint fudge as Mint chocolate fudge. This mint chocolate fudge reminds me of the Thin Mints Cookies. That is a great combination of chocolate and mint just like my Mint Chocolate fudge.

How to Make Mint Chocolate Fudge

Mint Chocolate Fudge

Ingredients
- 1 can Chocolate Fudge Frosting
- 1 can Vanilla Frosting
- 1 bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 bag White Chocolate Chips
- Green Gel Food Coloring
- 2 tsp mint extract
- Mini Chocolate Chips for Garnish
Instructions

Line a 9×13 cake pan with wax paper.

Microwave can of chocolate fudge frosting for 25 seconds.

Pour bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips into a microwave safe dish and mix in chocolate fudge frosting.

Microwave chocolate chips and frosting for 20-25 second intervals while stirring in between until all chocolate chips are melted.

Pour mixture into the 9×13 pan, spreading evenly throughout the pan.

Pop the pan in the freezer while you work on the top layer.

Microwave can of vanilla frosting for 25 seconds.

Mix in a small amount of green food coloring to get the color you like.

Pour bag of white chocolate chips into a microwave safe dish and mix in the vanilla frosting.

Microwave chocolate chips and frosting for 20-25 second intervals while stirring in between until all chocolate chips are melted.

If you need to add more food color, do so now.

Add in mint extract

12. Get the pan from the freezer and pour the green layer over the top, spreading it evenly throughout the pan.

13. Sprinkle with mini chocolate chips.

14. Refrigerate 20 minutes until set.
