How To Make Slow Cooker Pulled Pork Chili
Step 1. In a small bowl, add the garlic, cocoa powder, chili powder, cumin, cayenne pepper, and Mexican oregano and combine. Put in the salt and pepper and combine again. Use the seasoning to rub into the pork roast and set into a 5 to 6-quart crockpot. Place the solid ingredients around the roast and pour in the liquid smoke and chicken broth before mixing the ingredients on the sides of the roast with a fork.
Step 2. Seal the slow cooker with a lid and cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low. Make sure to not take off the lid while it's cooking. When the time is up, take off the lid and use two forks to pull apart the roast. Let the shredded meat sit in the juices for 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavor.
