Nilla wafer cookiesgraham crackers or sugar cookies
Put the softened cream cheese in a bowl and beat with mixers.
Add marshmallow and beat together.
Add the mixture to a serving bowl and add Cherry pie filling on top. Tip: I don't want to have the cherry pie filling to thick. If I am using a deep bowl rather than a shallow, wide dish, I add about half of the cherry pie filling and add the rest of the can later. This helps keep the ratio where I like it.
The cherry cheesecake dip is ready to be served, or it can be made ahead and refrigerated.
Note: I have had others make cherry cheesecake dip with cool whip as well. It create more dip and it makes the filling a little fluffier. I do not make mine that way, but it certainly delicious with it added.
