One Bowl Banana Bread

With just 3 ripe bananas a few pantry items, you’ll be well on your way to enjoying this delicious one bowl banana bread.

Ingredients

  • 3 Large ripe bananas
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter softened to room temperature
  • ¾ cup white granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour scooped with a spoon and leveled with a knife
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda make sure it's not expired
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

  3. In a large bowl mash bananas with a fork or potato masher.

  4. Use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat in the remaining ingredients until well blended.

  5. Pour mixture into greased loaf pan.

  6. Bake for 50-60 minutes. Test that the bread is done by sticking a toothpick or skewer into the center of the loaf. If it comes out clean the bread is done.

  7. Let cool on a baking rack.

*This loaf will freeze well.

*Nuts and/or chocolate chips and/or raisins can be added and mixed in before baking if desired.
