I absolutely love throwing parties and having guests over to try my incredible recipes. This dip is by far my favorite. The dip is super simple to make with only a handful of ingredients. Get the same results as a cheesecake in just a few minutes. Avoid the water baths, cracking, and chilling. It comes out nice and soft with a delectable flavor and I just love dipping some vanilla wafers into it to give it that amazing cheesecake flavor. You can make this recipe for any occasion too! I love it as a picnic treat, BBQ treat, or just your normal get-together to have something good to eat.

📖Variations
I absolutely recommend giving this recipe a try without switching it up, but there are quite a few great options if you are looking for more variety in your dessert.
Change the flavor to whatever you like as long as it pairs well with pie filling. You can use different types of extracts or flavoring.
- Try apple, blueberry, strawberry, blueberry, peach, lemon, etc.
🍽 Equipment
Baking Dish: I like using this 9x13-inch glass baking dish because it comes with a cover that can help with easy storage and keep the flies away if I have a party!
Frosting Spatula: This is another tool that makes it easy to spread and smooth out frosting, whipped cream, and a ton of other things. If you have shaky hands, the angled spatula can help give you more control and keep your hands clean and reduce mess.
🥫Storage
Make sure your cheesecake is in an airtight container and keep it in the fridge to last for up to 2-3 days.
💭 Top tips
- Although I adore some cherries, you can also try out other fillings like strawberry or blueberry which are great options.
- Use this recipe to make a no-bake pie as well. It's simpler to just throw together as a dip, but a full-fledged pie is always delicious.
- If you want to save a few calories for this dessert, you can use light ingredients like light whipped cream and light cream cheese.
FAQ
Yes! This can be made 24 hours in advance which makes it the perfect last-minute idea for whatever you have planned. If you decide to make it ahead, allow it to sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before enjoying it.
For most desserts and food in general, you want to keep perishable food out for a max of 2 hours, and anytime over that would cause bacteria to form on your food. Wherever you decide to make this recipe, I recommend having a fridge or cooler nearby to pop it in to chill after the two-hour mark. Because I know your guests will for sure love this recipe. After the two-hour mark just makes sure to chill the recipe for 30 minutes before enjoying it again.

Cherry Cheesecake Dip is a great party dip with a perfectly smooth and creamy texture with a delicious cherry flavor in every bite. This dessert will simply melt in your mouth and you will want to finish the whole thing in one sitting!
- 1 block cream cheese 16 ounces, softened
- 1 jar marshmallow cream or fluff 7 ounces
- 1 can cherry pie filling 14 ounce
- Nilla wafer cookies graham crackers or sugar cookies
-
In a bowl, add in the cream cheese and use a hand mixer or an electric mixer to beat.
-
Put in the marshmallow cream or fluff and beat again to combine.
-
In a serving bowl, add the prepared mixture and top with some cherry pie filling. If you have a deep bowl you are using, I reccomend adding only half of the filling first and then adding the remaining half later on.
-
Serve with whatever dippers you like and enjoy right away or save it for later as a make ahead dessert and store in the fridge.
Note: I have had others make cherry cheesecake dip with cool whip as well. It create more dip and it makes the filling a little fluffier. I do not make mine that way, but it certainly delicious with it added.
