    🍳 How to Make

    Step 1. Cook the eggs in a skillet for about 2 minutes before placing them in a bowl.

    Step 2. Cook the shrimp in the skillet for 1 minute before placing it into the bowl with the eggs.

    Step 3. Add the vegetables, ginger, and garlic powder into the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender.

    Step 4. Put the remaining ingredients into the pan along with the shrimp and eggs and cook until fully cooked through for 1-2 minutes. Take off the heat and garnish with green onions. Serve and enjoy!

    Hint: The initial cooking of the shrimp will not cook the shrimp all the way through, so do not place them aside. Make sure to add back into the pan with the other ingredients until fully cooked through.

    You can use some of the options below to alter the shrimp fried rice to your liking.

    • Instead of just shrimp, you can add diced chicken, beef, pork, or other seafood.
    • Add any additional veggies you like! I like adding broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, etc.

    • You can use fresh, frozen, or pre-cooked shrimp.
    • I love using white rice for this recipe, but you can replace it with other types you prefer.
    • Instead of using separate veggies, you can use a frozen blend.

    I prefer using white or jasmine rice for this recipe. You can use yellow or brown rice, but it won't be the same.

    I simply add a sprinkle of diced green onions on top. You can add different types of Asian-style sauces or other fresh veggies of your choosing.

    This Easy Shrimp Fried Rice is tender and seasoned shrimp on a delicious and flavorful bed of fluffy white rice.

    Ingredients
    • 3 tablespoon butter unsalted, divided
    • 4 large eggs lightly beaten
    • Sea salt and black pepper to taste
    • ¾ lbs. shrimp frozen, thawed and chopped
    • ⅓ cup peas frozen
    • ⅓ cup carrots finely diced
    • 3 tablespoon white onion finely diced
    • 2 large green onions divided, sliced
    • 2 teaspoon ginger fresh, finely minced
    • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
    • 4 cup rice cooked, chilled
    • 2 tablespoon sesame oil toasted
    • 3 tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
    • Optional garnish: Additional green onion sliced
    Instructions
    1. Add one tablespoon butter to a large skillet or wok set over medium-high heat.
    2. Add eggs and cook, stirring and chopping with a spatula continually, until cooked through, approximately 2 minutes. Transfer eggs to a bowl and set aside.
    3. Add second tablespoon of butter to pan. Add shrimp and cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute. Transfer shrimp to the bowl with the eggs. (Shrimp will not be full cooked at this point).
    4. Add remaining butter to pan, along with the peas, carrots, onion, and white portion of green onions. Add fresh ginger and garlic powder. Stir to combine and cook until vegetables are crisp tender, approximately 2-3 minutes.
    5. Add rice, sesame oil, tamari, and green part of onions to pan and stir to combine. Return shrimp and eggs to skillet and cook, stirring continually, until heated through and all ingredients are thoroughly combined, approximately 1-2 minutes.
    6. Remove from heat and serve immediately topped with additional sliced green onion, if desired. Enjoy!
