Spaghetti Squash recipes

I normally eat my Spaghetti Squash one of two ways. I eat it like speghetti with sauce or I eat it just as it is as a side dish. Both ways are fantastic. Some people like to leave the baked spaghetti squash in the skin and add things in like ground beef, chicken and lots of cheese.

What to Serve with Spaghetti Squash?

How to cook Spaghetti Squash

Honestly, it could not be easier to cook speghetti squash.  It is simply a matter of roasting it in the oven.

Ingredients:
1 speghetti squash
oil
salt and pepper

Things that make it easier: a great knife set, a melon baller scoop

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425.
Cut the squash in half. Some people cut it long ways, but I prefer to cut it in the middle. This creates longer noodles. If you cut it long ways, it create short noodles.

Cut off the other end. This is so the squash will sit flat while roasting

Scrape out the seeds. You could roast the seeds separately if you like.Looking for a pasta alternative? Whether you are watching carbs or need a gluten free meal idea, spaghetti squash is a delicious dinner that is great all on its own.
Drizzle oil over the squash. Salt and pepper.
Roast in the oven for 30 minutes. The squash is done when you can easily pierce the skin with a fork.

Let cool until you can handle it with your hands.
Using a fork scrape the inside flesh. It will start to form strand.
